EF oxford is very dirty. And the management is poor. They can't solve the problem of students efficiently. The food in the cafeteria is always similar. The facilities are old without fixing...

The program didn't resemble what they put in the catalog for several reasons. The school is not the one that appears in the photos, that is for the EF Academy courses, not for the summer stays. For the summer there are two different course locations: those that stay in the student residence have classrooms in Brooks University whereas those that stay in a host family (like me) go to Oxford International College next to South Park, a facility shared with another school. In my case, after a week, we were moved from a dwarf classroom to a cold lab in the basement. Another thing that was different than the catalog was the people. I had the international package, the one that most people had, and which meant supposedly we shared classes and activities with people of other nationalities. This was a half-truth. The day after arriving we were told that on our dates there were only people from China and that although we were going to have classes with them, for the activities we were going to separate because the Chinese students requested that. After talking with people of other nationalities, we saw that all the groups were separated by nationalities for the activities. By the way, even after having paid for the "fun pack" which included going to the bowling alley, afterwards we were told that we had to pay for that separately. Finally I will talk about the host families. In my case I was lucky, but in other cases it was a nightmare: the house full of alcohol, the host family did not wash the students' clothes, they forgot to make them food ... For these reasons the girls who were in a bad host family requested a change, which according to the catalog would be immediate, but even providing evidence of the conditions, in the three weeks that we were there, there was no way to change families. The rest of the course was not bad, but these factors lowered the quality quite a bit. Year 2016.

I was in Oxford two weeks and I had a good time. The organization was not the best but I still enjoyed it. As for the visits and trips, they were very nice and fun.
